The Tragedy in Japan

Our hearts and prayers go out to those in Japan that were affected by the earthquake and tsunami. We are saddened by any tragedy that occurs around the world, but this event has really touched us personally - especially Greg. Not only did he serve a 2 year mission in Japan and has a deep love for the Japanese people, but his brother, Ryan, and his family currently live in Tokyo. You can read about their experience here. Just as an update, after 5 days of continuous aftershocks, and with the nuclear scare, Jill and the children returned to the states. Ryan was relocated south to Osaka for a short period of time before Deloitte decided to send all the ex patriots back to the states for the time being.

We were thrilled to hear that all LDS missionaries were safe, and we rejoice in the miracles that we read about daily. We hope to read many more.
