The flight to Iguazu was exciting! The pilot circled the falls so we could get a birds eye view. We landed around 7pm, found a ride to our hotel (cost 120 pesos) and checked in. We only planned 24 hours in Iguazu, so we exchanged some money at the hotel (best rate so far), walked around the city, found the bus station, and went to bed.

Tuesday, November 6th
After another yummy hotel breakfast, we caught the bus to Iguazu falls around 9:30am. (50 pesos per person for the round trip). The cost to get into the park was 135 pesos for non residents, but with Jeff's DNI card (local ID card), he got the discounted rate of 50 pesos. The park was absolutely amazing. With over 250 falls, Niagara doesn't even compare. With summer just starting, it was scorching hot. But, we didn't complain because we were in heaven. The falls, the wildlife, the entire experience was incomparable. ***TIP: Bring water, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, sunglasses, visors or hats. Prepare to get wet, especially if you go on a boat excursion. My hand held battery operated fan saved me.
Here is a slideshow of our experience, and a couple of videos for you to enjoy.

After the trip to the falls, we cleaned up as much as we could and got shuttled back to the airport (for 100 pesos) in time to catch our flight to Buenos Aires (AEP) our last destination. We found a ride to our hotel (for 110 pesos), and quickly turned on the tv to see election results. With that news, we went to bed excited to explore Buenos Aires.

Wednesday and Thursday, November 7th and 8th
The only 2 items on our Buenos Aires "to do" list, was to go to the recently re-opened Buenos Aires Temple, and go to an Argentine Tango show. We loved both. We also got to explore the city a bit (by foot) and the cemetery where all the prominent and revered were buried - including Eva Peron (the subject of the broadway show "Evita.") We were impressed how clean the city was compared to the areas of Jeffrey's mission. We also ate more yummy food. After our temple visit on Thursday, we went straight to the International Airport (EZE) to catch our ride home. (The ride to the temple cost 225 pesos, and the ride from the temple to the airport cost 80 pesos.) Here are the highlights:
Friday, November 9th
At 5:30am, we touched down at the ATL. Jared Nelson, our good friend, and the best home teacher ever, picked us up from the airport with a case of A&W Rootbeer - Jeff's favorite. We came home to a decorated house and an excited Jazzy. After the sibling reunions, we took Jeff to the home of the stake president to be released. Well done, Elder Angell! We are so proud of you!
